Operations Manager
A newcomer to Galiano, and a lifelong west coaster, Renée is delighted to be back in a small community on a beautiful island. And what better way to get to know the community than through it’s vibrant recycling centre? Renée lives by five R’s: reduce, reuse, repurpose, repair & recycle and brings her enthusiasm for these things to serve the Galiano community.

A long standing resident of Galiano, Maryann is here to answer all your recycling questions. Motivated to ease your way through the ever evolving world of recycling, she has created a well organised and friendly space for all to enjoy.

ReDirectory Coordinator
A longtime resident, Margaret has volunteered off and on at GIRR since its inception, and at the ReDirectory for about five years. Now as an employee, she is excited to run the ReDirectory with a group of amazing volunteers. She loves the concept of the ReDirectory: bring us the items you no longer want, and we will pass it on to become someone's treasure.
