We’re happy to report that large appliances are now being accepted at GIRR’s recycling depot. You are welcome to bring your appliances in any weekend during our regular operating hours of 9:30 am to 2:30 pm on Fridays & Saturdays. To support the service of handling and running large appliances into town, a $30/item fee will be payable in cash at time of drop off. Please speak with our staff before unloading, and they will be able to assist you.
This service was launched on February 6th as a pilot project. Three weeks in and everything is running smoothly. Thanks to the community for your support and for choosing to recycle!
