After much anticipation, the depot expansion got underway this week. Excavation has begun!
Recycling will resume with our regular hours on Friday, April 21st. However, this Saturday we will need to close the depot early. Please note our hours for this week:
Friday, April 21st 9:30 to 2:30
Saturday, April 22nd 9:30 to 12 noon
We will also be open this Thursday, April 20th, for our commercial customers only at our regular time of 10 am to 12 noon.
During these early stages of excavation and construction, please note that we will be operating just one collection station out front of the metal Quonset structure and will maintain access for five vehicles at once. Operations could change with short notice during this time, so please come prepared to take instruction from our depot staff who will be there to guide you.
This is a great time to hone your pre-sorting techniques so that recycling at the depot can be quick and efficient. This will be of benefit to you, your neighbours and our staff.
